📈 **TMT prices have moved sharply over the last few days.**

In our market, we have seen TMT rates increase by approximately **₹4,000 per tonne in just four days.**

For a customer buying 10 tonnes, that's a difference of roughly **₹40,000**.

But the bigger question isn't just:

**"How much has the rate increased?"**

The real question is:

**"Why is the market moving?"**

Steel prices are influenced by several factors — billet and sponge prices, raw material costs, mill sentiment, supply availability, demand and broader market conditions.

That is why we believe customers should not make purchasing decisions based only on the cheapest quotation of the day.

Understand the market.
Understand the product.
Then decide.

At Veekay Traders, we believe our job is not only to supply construction materials — but also to help our customers make better-informed decisions.

**Rates change.
Transparency shouldn't.**

Think Trust. Think Veekay Traders.

Some meetings are about business.

Some are about building relationships that last far beyond business.

This week, we had the pleasure of bringing together contractors and industry partners for an evening of conversations, ideas, experiences and, most importantly, meaningful connections.

For us at Veekay Traders, contractors are not just customers.

They are the people who turn drawings into structures, plans into projects and dreams into reality.

We value the conversations that happen beyond quotations and rates — understanding challenges, sharing experiences, learning from each other and finding better ways to work together.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to join us and make the evening special.

Here's to stronger relationships, better collaboration and many more projects built together.

**Because strong construction needs more than strong materials.
It needs strong relationships.**

Trust should be backed by verification.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit **IIT Indore** to submit TMT bar samples for testing and to better understand the scientific processes used to evaluate construction materials.

During the visit, I was fortunate to interact with respected faculty members from the Civil Engineering department. Our discussions on material quality, testing methodologies and the importance of technical standards were both insightful and inspiring.

At Veekay Traders, we believe that supplying building materials is more than just delivering products.

It means continuously learning, seeking technical knowledge and encouraging objective verification wherever possible.

When customers trust us with their homes, factories and commercial projects, we believe that commitment should be supported by knowledge, transparency and a willingness to improve every day.

A heartfelt thank you to the faculty at IIT Indore for their time, guidance and valuable insights.

Learning never stops—and neither does our commitment to quality.

Some opportunities are not just about speaking.

They are about sharing experiences that can genuinely help others.

It was a privilege to address the members and visitors at **BNI Evolve** and share my thoughts on the building materials industry—an industry where trust, transparency and knowledge make all the difference.

During the session, we discussed how customers can unknowingly lose money through common market practices and why informed buying decisions are just as important as getting the right price.

At Veekay Traders, we believe our responsibility goes beyond supplying TMT steel and cement.

Our goal is to educate, create awareness and help customers make confident decisions while building their homes, factories and commercial projects.

A sincere thank you to the leadership team of **BNI Evolve** and everyone who attended the session for the opportunity, the engaging discussions and the warm encouragement.

Learning is most valuable when it is shared.

Here's to building stronger relationships, stronger businesses and stronger foundations.

VEEKAY TRADERS PRACTICE #2

What leaves our yard should reach your site exactly the same way.

That is why, for all deliveries, we follow a seal verification process.

Before dispatch:

✔ Material is loaded

✔ Vehicle is sealed

✔ Customer signs the seal

✔ Seal photograph is shared with the receiving team

When the vehicle reaches site,

the seal is verified before unloading.

Why?

Because transparency should not end when the vehicle leaves the yard.

It should continue until the material reaches the customer.

Small processes like these help create confidence, accountability and peace of mind.

Because trust is not built through words.

It is built through systems.

Sealed. Verified. Delivered.

Think Trust. Think Veekay Traders.

VEEKAY TRADERS PRACTICE #1

Trust is not built on promises.

It is built on processes.

One of the practices we follow at Veekay Traders is regularly verifying our weighing machines using standard test weights.

Why?

Because customers don't pay for steel.
They pay for kilograms of steel.

And every kilogram belongs to them.

This verification helps us ensure that the weight displayed is the weight being measured accurately.

It may seem like a small exercise.

But after 43 years in business, we have learned that transparency is built through attention to details.

For us, accurate weighment is not just about compliance.

It is about responsibility.

Because when a customer pays for a kilogram, he deserves a kilogram.

Honest Weight Begins With Accurate Measurement.

Think Trust. Think Veekay Traders.
