Roja Elysium is often called a fresh citrus fragrance, but that description misses what makes it special.

Its real character comes from the airiness, diffusion, smooth blending, and transition between notes.

From the very first spray, you get citrus with musk and depth, creating that polished, expensive presence.

And there’s an interesting point about its performance.

You may stop noticing Elysium fairly quickly because your nose adapts to the citrus, ambroxan, and musk combination.

You’ll think the fragrance is gone.

People around you may still be smelling it.

Still testing perfume only on a strip? You’re missing half the story.

A test strip tells you what the perfume smells like.
Your skin tells you how it actually performs.

When testing a fragrance, always check:

• Test Strip: First impression and overall scent profile
• Skin: Longevity, projection, and dry down
• Tissue Paper: Avoid it. It can distort the fragrance

Your skin’s heat, oils, and chemistry can completely change how a perfume develops.

So before buying your next fragrance, test it properly.

You’re applying perfume wrong.

And then blaming the perfume for weak performance.

If your fragrance disappears in 2 hours, your application technique might be the problem.

Here’s the correct way to apply perfume:

• Apply it on clean, freshly showered skin
• Moisturize first, especially if you have dry skin
• Focus on areas like the neck, behind the ears, inner elbows and chest
• Never rub your perfume after spraying
• Use both skin and clothes for better overall performance
• A practical starting point is 50% on skin and 50% on clothes

One important correction though: pulse points are not a magic switch for projection. Heat can influence how fragrance evaporates, but your skin chemistry, concentration, weather and fragrance formula matter much more.

And in Indian weather, especially hot and humid conditions, application technique can make a noticeable difference in how your fragrance performs.

Save this before your next spray.

And send it to that friend who empties half the bottle and still says, “Bhai, perfume weak hai.” 😂

I attended the Riiffs Freeze in Flames event, and this one genuinely surprised me.

I expected a fresh fragrance. What I got was icy mint, juicy raspberry and passion fruit, followed by surprisingly strong performance.

• 5 to 6 hours on skin
• 8 to 10+ hours on clothes
• Strong projection for the first 2 to 2.5 hours
• Especially interesting for Indian summer

Cold smell. Serious performance.

Now the question is simple: Freeze or Freeze in Flames?
