7th WM Plantation Drive

Update on 7th WM Plantation Drive... the plantation drive was completed yesterday. The cuttings were grown in the ground in January by at our office which is based at . In the last few days we prepared a soil mix with sand, compost made at and by and garden soil. We have planted 300 Champa/Plumeria saplings of 5 types polybags. These saplings will grow in these saplings for another year to be planted in the ground to develop into mother plants to fuel our future plantation drives. Champa/Plumeria are easy to grow and maintain which helps in quickly changing the micro climate of the place and supports growing other plants easily.

Alongside Champa we are developing saplings of other varieties also as we plan to achieve a target of 1000 saplings at least every year for our plantation drives. The plantation has to be diverse to benefit nature. We are developing the saplings of Mango, Jamun, Shehtoot, Sitaphal, Beel Moringa, Kachnaar and Gulmohar. We will be adding more varieties and focussing more on native medicinal and fruit saplings. We are also developing a seed bank for herbs which can grow along and under tree canopies to add value and attract pollinators which will enhance the flower and fruit production.

Keeping true to one of our motos at .motorsports of RESPONSIBLE SPORT we are working on more projects to make our surroundings sustainable and better to live.

7th WM Plantation Drive

We at .motorsportsare commited to all our mottos and one of them is RESPONSIBLE SPORT and continuing our endeavour of plantation in the 7th year of WM Plantation Drive we have an important announcement.

This year we are going to develop mother plants to go about building a better foundation for making our plantation drives bigger and better in future. We will be developing the mother plants at where we are headquartered at with the help of . We will be doing the sapling planting and seed sowing starting on 7th of July as the monsoon steadies itself.

We are diversifying our saplings every year and adding newer varieties. We are developing saplings of Mango, Jamun, Shehtoot, Sitaphal, Beel, Moringa, Kachnaar, Gulmohar and some newer varieties of Champa also have been added.
