Imagined in satin with a self-textured print, the saree draws inspiration from the familiarity of old handloom Banarasi sarees, where archival borders have been renewed through appliqué, reinforced and reworked to preserve both their form and longevity.

Detailed with tested embellishments, onyx, semiprecious stones, beads and moti work, the surface carries depth through restrained ornamentation rather than excess.

The blouse, crafted in pure Banarasi, is finished with appliqué, sequins and intricate beadwork in a muted olive-beige tone, grounding the richness of the ensemble with quiet structure.

Rooted in restoration and reinvention, the piece carries fragments of the past into the present.
