Someone once asked me,
“Who do you design for?”
And I remember thinking...
I don’t really design for brides.
Or for wedding guests.
Or for festivals.
I design for the woman who genuinely enjoys the process of getting dressed.
The one who’ll spend ten minutes deciding between two pairs of earrings even when she’s already late.
Who’ll pull out an old Banarasi dupatta simply because the weather felt right.
Who believes a white shirt and polki belong together.
Who doesn’t separate her wardrobe into “Indian” and “Western.”
Because she doesn’t separate herself that way either.
She’s just... herself.
Some days in denim.
Some days in a sari.
Most days somewhere in between.
