🪷Many of us set aside money each month for our household, our children's needs, and our future.

🪷Our Acharyas have also taught us the importance of setting aside a small portion for kainkaryam—an offering made with gratitude to Bhagavan.

🪷It is never about the amount. Even a small offering made with devotion helps.

🪷May we always have the opportunity to participate in kainkaryam and preserve the traditions that have nurtured us.

🪷Gau Mata is called mother because she gives without asking for anything back.

🪷In Sanatana Dharma, protecting her — Gau Samrakshanam — is Dharma itself.

🪷At Kooram Goshala, that means fodder, shelter, and daily care for the Gomatha family. Every contribution reaches them directly, whatever the amount.

🪷Gau Seva is devotion offered freely, not a transaction.

🪷If you'd like to support the Gomatha family's care, the link is in our bio.

🪷Guru Poonima – A Day of Gratitude to Our Acharyas

🪷Today is also the sacred Thirunakshatram of Sri Alavandar (Yamunacharya), whose mission Sri Ramanujacharya carried forward for the Vaishnava Sampradaya.

🪷In the Sri Vaishnava Sampradaya, the greatest blessing is the grace of our Acharya.

🪷Because of that mercy, we come to know Sriman Narayana. We understand the Divya Prabandham. We learn the path of surrender, Prapatti.

🪷Our Acharyas have lived this Sampradaya and guided us toward Bhagavan with compassion.

🪷Guru Pournima is a sacred day to remember them — beginning with Sriman Narayana (Periya Perumal), Sri Mahalakshmi, Vishvaksena, Nammalvar, Sri Ramanujacharya, and all the great Acharyas who preserved and passed this Sampradaya on to us.

🪷Let us offer our gratitude today through prayer, through service, and by striving to live the teachings we've received.

🪷May we always remain under the compassionate feet of our Acharyas and continue walking the path they have shown us.

🪷Our day begins under the mercy of KoorathAzhwan and the blessings of Sri Ramanujacharya, who have chosen us as instruments for Kooram Goshala kainkaryam.

🪷This Guru Purnima, which Acharya's teachings have shaped your path? Share their name below — we'd love to know.

🪷Srimathe Ramanujaya Namah 🙏

🪷Dwadasi Parana 🙏

🪷After observing the sacred Ekadasi vrata, Dwadasi Parana marks the proper completion of the fast.

🪷Our Acharyas have taught that observing Ekadasi with devotion and breaking the fast at the prescribed Parana time on Dwadasi are both equally important.

🪷At Kooram Goshala, we also perform a special Gau Pooja on Dwadasi and lovingly feed our Gomatha family, praying for the well-being of all devotees.

🪷If you would like to participate in this month's Dwadasi Gau Pooja, donation details are available in the first comment. You may also call us at 97911 11307.

🪷Every day at Kooram Goshala begins with a simple but important task—bringing fresh green grass for our Gomatha family.

🪷Providing fresh green fodder is a part of their daily routine and care. It costs us ₹2,500 every day, made possible only through the generosity of devotees who support this seva.

🪷At present, we are running short of funds to meet this daily requirement.

🪷Whether your contribution is ₹100 or ₹1,000, every offering helps us ensure that our Gomathas are fed with love and care.

🪷If you would like to participate in this daily Gau Seva, the payment details are available in the first comment.

🪷Every Amavasya, we perform a special Gau Pooja with the support of devotees and lovingly feed our Gomatha family.

🪷Our tradition teaches that feeding Gomatha on Amavasya is a beautiful way to honor our ancestors and seek their blessings for the well-being of our family.

🪷It is believed that the blessings of our ancestors bring peace, harmony, and stability into our lives. With their grace, we find the strength to face life's challenges, our relationships grow closer, and we navigate life's journey with faith and gratitude.

🪷Gau Seva is never transactional. It is transformational. Every act of Gau Seva helps deepen our devotion while preserving the sacred tradition of feeding cow.

🪷If you would like to participate in our monthly Amavasya Gau Pooja, donation details are available in the first comment. You may also call us at 97911 11307.

🪷Did you know that many people experience a deep sense of peace and renewed in prana shakti (life energy) when they spend time in a Goshala?

🪷This little one is Rangan. He chose Kooram Goshala as his home, and we feel immense joy.

🪷We are now blessed with six playful calves, each with a unique personality. This is Parthasarathy, whose mother is Mahalakshmi. Our calves age ranges from three months to eleven months old. They spend their days running, playing, and filling the Goshala with life.

🪷If you visit Kooram Goshala with your children, they'll be delighted and enjoy playing with our little calves.

🪷Every contribution to the Goshala helps care for Rangan, Parthasarathy, and all our Gomathas. There is a special joy in nurturing a young life and watching it grow with love and care.

🌼Why is Amavasya considered a sacred day?

🌼According to our tradition, Amavasya is a special day to remember our ancestors, offer our prayers, and seek their blessings for the well-being of our families.

🌼Every Amavasya at Kooram Goshala, we perform Gau Pooja.

🌼Our Bhattar offers the pooja, and our beloved Gomathas are lovingly fed Agathi keerai, jaggery, and rice balls—among their favourite food.

🌼Wherever you may be in the world, participate in Gau Pooja or Gau Seva on Amavasya and observe this sacred tradition with devotion.

🪷Every appreciation we receive does not belong to us, but to the boundless grace of Sriman Narayana and our Acharyas.

🪷Every little kainkaryam taking place here is possible only because of the blessings of KoorathAzhwan, the dedicated efforts of our Gau
Rakshakas, and the unwavering support of our donors, volunteers, and every Bhagavatha who has become a part of this journey.

🪷If there is anything worthy, it is His grace.

🪷All the shortcomings are ours.

🪷 We are merely instruments in the hands of Sriman Narayana, and we pray for the strength to continue serving Him and His devotees to the best of our ability.

🪷Our humble pranams to everyone who has supported us in this Bhagavatha Kainkaryam.
