Some places are photographed.
Some places are felt.
And some stay with you long after you have left.
For me, photography has always been a way of holding on to those moments.
The mountains have been my favourite subjects—not simply because of their grandeur, but because of what they make us feel. The silence, the scale, the uncertainty of the weather, the long journeys, the tiny human figures against an immense landscape… every frame carries a memory.
On World Photography Day, I look back at some of the photographs from those journeys and remember why I first picked up a camera.
Photography is not just about what we see.
It is about what makes us stop and look.
Celebrating the joy of seeing, travelling, waiting, and capturing a moment.
Happy World Photography Day 📷🏔️
