To pay my respect to all my women colleagues with whom I worked at some point of time :
Rejuvenation
East or West, North or South
Everywhere it is the same ;
Women are now respected by all
Girl child is no more any mother's shame.
They no longer dwell in the kitchen
Nor marriage is their only life;
They have created their own identity
Now they can match with every stride.
No longer men are the ones
Who alone can do all;
Women have proved their mettle
No field is there, where they don't fit at all.
Teaching alone no longer keeps them happy
As they now know how to run a race;
After Medical, Technology and Banking
They have also landed into space.
Be it Everest or English Channel irrespective of the risk
Nothing they left beyond their reach;
Women as the Statesmen impressed the world
With their passionate services and motivating speech.
Whether it's aircraft or spaceship
Nothing remained unexplored by them;
Even they are present in the battlefield today
With responsibility to make the enemy tamed.
Oh Women of the present age
We owe you a respectful salute;
It's not any body's grace
By your own right, you deserve the tribute.
We are ashamed of the injustice
The Society meted so long to you;
Now we're proud of this new Womanhood
Who rewrote her history anew.
