Introducing the Ronotrooper, in Offcuts.

We have a shelf in our workshop that's full of fabric we couldn't bring ourselves to throw away. Sampling lots that didn't quite work. Colours that faded. Bolts with slubs, patches, small mistakes. Things most people in our industry would have written off years ago.

For us, waste has never really been an option. Some of you have already seen this thinking show up in our bag charms, the Egdara collection, the patchwork bags. Offcuts is the latest in that line.

The idea is simple. Every few months we pull the shelf out and try to figure out what these forgotten fabrics could become together.

This is the second piece in the collection. The Ronotrooper is one of our signature silhouettes, a proper rucksack, and this one's been put together from colour-blocked panels of leftover canvas and cotton that had been sitting on the shelf for a while. It took weeks of going back and forth on which offcuts could live together. But at some point you stop arguing and let the bag take its own shape.

Sometimes the most random ingredients make the most beautiful dish.

Made by hand in Kolkata, from fabric that almost wasn't.
