Honestly, (trying to) deep diving into this topic has been so fascinating for us. While we understand that they're a seemingly "simple" source of joy, in a way a collectible, an expression of art & even culture, the repercussions and implications seem too grim to ignore.

While people keep buying these Labubus as a form of economic escapism. bite-sized indulgence if you will, the CEO of Pop Mart has made a staggering $1.6B in a DAY. It does sound predatory if you think about it.
