You see a few seconds. We see everything that happened before them. ✨
A few seconds of a reel can look effortless on screen — a turn of the head, a glimpse of jewellery, a little movement, the right light falling exactly where it should.
But behind those few seconds is a whole different story.
It starts much before the camera starts rolling.
The makeup being carefully done.
The hair being fixed, again and again.
The jewellery being placed just right.
The outfit being adjusted between takes.
The lights being moved.
The camera angles being tested.
The little conversations between shots.
The “one more take” that turns into five more.
The tiny details nobody notices in the final reel, but which make all the difference.
And somewhere between all of this chaos, waiting, experimenting and creating — the final few seconds come alive.
For Soukhin, jewellery has never been just about putting a beautiful piece in front of a camera.
Every piece has a story, and every shoot is another attempt to tell that story visually — through light, movement, expressions and details.
What you see on Instagram may be just 10–15 seconds.
But behind those seconds are hours of preparation, people, patience, creativity, retakes, laughter, tiny adjustments and a whole team making one frame feel just right.
This is the part of jewellery photography you don’t usually get to see.
The imperfect, chaotic, beautiful process behind the perfectly curated frame.
And honestly, sometimes the making of the moment is just as beautiful as the moment itself. 🤍
A little glimpse into what went on behind Soukhin’s recent shoot.
