This journey is about sharing those living connections with Japan — and finding the threads that connect our cultures, across mountains and oceans.

Wearing the Landscape — an evening at the BIC library Bangalore International Centre with Jenny Pinto of Oorjaa , Anshu Arora, and Sushma Veerappa of Kandu, tracing the ecological journey of what we wear: seed, soil, natural dye, loom, pastoralsim and design.

Felt like an intimate conversation with a very interest group of people. What I didn’t expect was how much I’d need it. When you’re inside the work — the clusters, the wool, the shearing calendar, the next order — there’s rarely time to step back and ask what any of it adds up to. Sitting on that panel gave me a rare hour to actually think about what we’re building at Kullvi Whims, and why.

From indigenous wool in the Kullu valley to naturally coloured cotton to natural dye practice, the through-line was the same: when you know where a material comes from, you make different choices.

A special day in Amsterdam!

It’s amazing when our clients come and visit us in the Himalayas but it’s even more special to visit their space and see our work displayed with such care and love! ❤️
Visited Zazi Vintage’s ZAZI beautiful new shop and had the pleasure of meeting Jeanne Jeanne Z**i Margot de Kroon and the wonderful team. Seeing our collaboration work- the new sweaters and accessories in the shop was such a proud and emotional moment — witnessing how far our work has travelled, from the Himalayas to Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is truly such a beautiful city, full of creativity, charm, and inspiration. So grateful to see our craft reach new places and connect with people across the world. 🏔️🇳🇱
