When a client wanted this exact shade for her sister’s wedding, we brought it to life in a pure zari Banarasi Kadwa Jaal saree.
Because sometimes, a saree doesn’t begin with a motif or a weave.

A little piece of Vaarasa, worn by my little Radha. When I started House of Vaarasa, I always wanted to create pieces that would live beyond a season and occasions.
Pieces that would become part of our memories.
This one is one of those, my little Radha, twirling around in a lehenga made for her from our pure handloom Banarasi brocade fabrics.
She first wore it for her Mama’s wedding, and today, on Jamashtami, she wore it again - this time as Radha.
Watching her in a handloom textile so deeply rooted in our Indian heritage, I realised that perhaps this is what Vaarasa has always meant to me.
Not just preserving beautiful textiles, but creating memories with them.
Passing down a love for craftsmanship.
And someday, perhaps, passing down the very pieces themselves.❤️
