Needless to say, we sisters believe that this venture was clearly meant to be. We are ardent supporters of traditional art and craft believe in showcasing niche silver jewelery from the nooks and crannies of India and reviving ancient techniques of handmade silver jewelery. Our passion for all things vintage sees us curating exotic and delicate Indian jewellery besides exquisite handloom saris and

drapes from all over the country. They say that opportunity knocks only once. We are glad that we heard that knock and opened the door to a new career path when the chance to do so presented itself before us. Niyathi is the result of all those years of yearnings to find an outlet for our creativity. It is destiny that led us here and today we are proud owners of the brand. BANDHI — A JEWEL THAT MARKS BELONGING

Some pieces of jewellery are more than adornments. They carry memories, rituals and stories passed down through generations.

Bandhi is one such cherished tradition from the Jain community of Coastal Karnataka. Traditionally, during the wedding ceremony known as Thali Bandhi, the Bandhi is placed on the bride by the niece of the groom—a beautiful ritual that symbolically welcomes the bride into her new family.

For us, Bandhi holds an even more personal significance.

Growing up in Moodbidri, we have seen the beautiful women of our hometown adorn this distinctive piece with such grace. It was never simply another piece of jewellery; it was a familiar part of the bridal traditions and celebrations we grew up witnessing.

There is something incredibly special about jewellery that becomes a part of a community’s identity—pieces that are worn not just for their beauty, but because they carry a sense of belonging, family and continuity.

With our Bandhi, we hope to preserve a little piece of that heritage and keep this beautiful Coastal Karnataka tradition alive for generations to come.
