How are you spending time with your children during the lockdown?

It's Janmashtami and our little Biryani again wanted to do something for her Gopal Dada. So she got this box and told me to help her make something for Gopal Dada's birthday. I helped her by drawing and cutting the cardboard into various shapes of flute, matka, feather and footprints. She sat down with her colours and paint brushes and did what she loves doing the most ... Painting.

We let the things dry overnight and today we decorated the Krishna idol with the stuff and I feel He just loved it 😊

DIY activities need not be with expensive DIY sets always. The activities can be done by using things at home which are otherwise discarded or wasted. These activities are not only interesting, they also help children use their imagination and develop in them. It's also an excellent way to keep them off television and mobile at the same time.

The Amazon boxes are put to good use in our house. We do various DIY activities and make the best out of waste. This not only helps our little Biryani to learn to reuse and recycle... She also learns to be creative and innovative. A fun way to keep the kids engaged and develop their skills at the same time. this post is to share our amazon box stories 😊
