DHOOP offers a range of experiences rooted in culture and curates products that are lovingly hand-crafted by artisans who owe their skills to century old traditions. Started in August 2003, DHOOP (Hindi word for Sunshine) offers curated craft collections from different parts of India, combining traditional skills and contemporary design. DHOOP also provides décor concepts and interior design through organic partnerships with architects and product designers, adding its sunny glow to homes, office spaces and events. More than just a store:
DHOOP wishes to be a space where art, craft and culture is shared, experienced, discussed and celebrated. Over the years we have created awareness and supported Indian craft and culture through our handcrafted collections, design projects, events and workshops held at the store as well as in our studio. Dhoop showed some exclusive fashion, home decor, accessories and bags at the CRAFT & CULTURE section The Polkaa Dots Tyohaaron Ka Bazaar last week. From Lukhnowi soft cotton garments with stylish cuts to one of a kind fashionably styled tunics from Button Masala alongside Lippan Craft handwork bags, the collection was a great representation of good design x handmade in India and we are so happy with the inquiries and the buzz the products created .

Dhoop as a retail store was founded in 2003 by Aradhana Nagpal, a Craft Curator and Designer, Design Strategist, Cultural Consultant and Experience Designer. Dhoop was a retail store till 2019.
Today, Dhoop as evolved in to a Curation Studio and Cultural Agency where we Curate Experiences and Accelerate Growth for cultural brands and initiatives. I have been fortunate to contribute to sCSR Initiatives, festivals, awards .
