Some glimpses from the closing ceremony of 7th Alpavirama International Youth Film Festival 2024. NID Ahmedabad. The chief guest of the evening was Ms. S. Chhakchhuak, IAS MD and Commissioner of Tourism. The young filmmakers won awards worth 10 lac. This prize money will help them realize their next ideas. I am grateful to all the senior film professionals who joined us for the awards jury, cine bazaar, masterclass, and panel discussion. Cine Bazaar: A marketplace for young filmmakers.
The one-month-long project development workshop started today with an orientation program. Six experienced filmmaker mentors: Pushpendra Mishra, George Antony, Aditi Banerjee, Suruchi Sharma Akkta Panwar, and Upamanyu Bhattacharya, will guide the participants. They will join for an in-person workshop during 7th Alpavirama International Youth Film Festival 14-19 October 2024 and pitch their project to a panel of Industry experts.
