NBF Day 8: Young Minds, Big Ideas & Cultural Pride Take Centre Stage!
From energetic kids’ activities to powerful literary conversations, Nagpur Book Festival 2025 came alive today with learning, inspiration and Maharashtra’s rich cultural spirit.
At the Children’s Corner, students enjoyed:
A storytelling session by Ms Vidya
A refreshing yoga session with Subodh Sharma
A lively caricature workshop by Karan Singh
Meanwhile, the Zero Mile Lit Festival featured engaging discussions on Naxalism, books, cinema, youth and society.

He emphasised the importance of research-backed writing, ISBN-verified publishing, and the strengthening of regional literary voices.
He reminded authors that true literature uplifts humanity, transcends ideology, and must reach global audiences through translations urging youth to stay rooted in India’s traditions while embracing modern challenges.
The day also featured impactful conversations:
Chandrakant Kulkarni reminded aspiring artists that opportunities favour the prepared.
Dr. Kumud Sharma highlighted women’s self-reliance as the foundation of a strong India.
Digpal Lanjekar spoke about keeping Shivaji Maharaj’s heroic legacy alive for future generations.
IGP Sandeep Patil shared success stories of Navjeevan Colony, where over 100 youths rebuilt their lives.
Ankur Warikoo inspired young readers with his journey from comics to disciplined lifelong reading.

During the powerful ‘Bharat Bodh’ session, Dr. Bhagwat interacted with 300+ young authors urging them to write for human welfare, embrace India’s wisdom, and reach the world through impactful, translated literature.

Our distinguished guests included:
• Vishnu Shankar Jain– known for his strong legal perspectives and impactful observations.
• Mukul Kanitkar – renowned thinker and educationist sharing thoughtful reflections on culture and learning.
• Damyanti Tambay– inspiring speaker highlighting stories of strength, courage, and resilience.
• Ambreen Zaidi – writer and motivator known for her powerful, honest, and heartfelt narratives.

The session was rich, engaging, and deeply informative—offering the audience a chance to understand ideas that touch law, culture, identity, and human experience.
