Women Empowerment – as the core area; Ramky Foundation (RF) has been in pursuit of creating innovative platform that ensure sustainable employment to skilled women through production based enterprises in rural areas. During 2015, RF organized 300 women into a Mutually Aided Cooperative Society, namely, Vennela Rural Mart Mutually Aided Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society Limited (VRMACS) to set up a Leisure and sportswear production unit at Narasaraopet. RF also provided technical support to these women and facilitated input and marketing linkages for their products.
