This week’s home-schooling has so far been all about slowing down, self care and sunshine.
As an adult I find it difficult to prioritise these things so it’s important to me that I instill it early in Ryder. So that’s he grows to know it’s absolutely OK to do these things and that they are not a guilty pleasure.

These new hand-made lavender eye masks helped to ease the wriggling.

Keeping the doors open late this Friday.
I’ve got a whole heap of clobber destined for Vinted. Clashing prints. High St olds, satins & silks, stuff I’ve never worn and stuff I really don’t want to part with but can’t bear to wait until the moths descend. They’ll be a few bits that the boy has grown out of including things of his and mine that we’ve bought in India over the years.
I’m planning an under £5 rail, a £10 rail, any designer bits might be a bit more but I’m open to a bit of haggling room. I just want to stop my rails from sagging in the middle!

I’d like you to meet Aarti.
Aarti is from Gujurat. She has a little seasonal shop beside the beach in South Goa. Inside she creates the most intricate henna designs for passing tourists and can be found stitching fabrics together or threading pompoms and mirrors in the making of beautiful sun catchers.

Aarti’s mum has a shop beside her selling handicrafts in wood and antique metals. Alka, Aarti’s sister has a stall nearby selling fresh spices.

Aarti and I have sat together over henna and chai many times.
She is the maker and supplier behind several of my stock lines. Including these positive affirmation cards. She and Alka stitch the cute bags that they come in. I’ve just re-stocked these in the shop alongside some of their handmade Lavender Eye Pillows.

Lion’s Gate…

I don’t know about you but I feel different this morning!
Stronger. Clearer. Bigger. And with a renewed sense of belief.

Here’s what the shift has brought up for me:
✨listen to that belly feeling ~ my gut has always been right. No more doubting it.
✨ Compassion and discernment can co-exist. I will work with in togetherness to protect my heart.

These lessons have come following big blow. Logic always told me but I didn’t trust enough to belief that I can stand strong in boundaries and still be compassionate. 🙏🏻

This is your opportunity to meet Sam, ask any questions, hang out in my beautiful little space with a cacao blended by the indigenous tribe that Sam has spent time with, in the Amazon jungle.

It’s a chilled, bottoms on cushions gathering and we would love you to join us.
