*Kaagaz ke Khel: On the Riverbank* — a community Origami morning at *RMC Devrai on Sunday, 28th June* .
We, the volunteers of PRR and friends of Devrai, would like to invite you all for a gathering in a quiet little jungle in the heart of the city — a green space full of old trees along the riverbank . Let’s come together to craft and picnic in it, and remember why it’s worth protecting.
*Your Guide for the morning*
Sujata (Shorty) is a paper artist and dancer who finds balance between stillness and motion. Whether folding paper or dancing, she is fascinated by how colors, textures and flow shape our expression. She loves the way art grounds one to intentionally slow down and take you back to your roots - nature.
*What to expect?*
We will begin by meeting at the river’s edge, taking a short 10 minute, quiet walk together to our secret spot among the trees. Once settled, we’ll spend an hour in the gentle company of paper and chitchat. Just you, the whispers of the river, and a community of people coming together to celebrate the quiet art of Origami. This is an open level and open age session.
*What to bring/know?*
* A thick picnic blanket/yoga mat (the ground is soft earth and leaves)
* Water and snacks
* Come 10 minutes early so we can start the walk together
* Please carry back whatever you bring in — let’s leave the space exactly as we found it
* Little ones and beginners warmly welcome 🌿
