In 1937, late Shri Harshchandra Mudhoji Ghodke started the business from scratch and named it after his father Shri Mudhoji Ramji Ghodke - M. He Inculcated the obsession of sweets by introducing fresh, pure and less sweets like Pedhe and Barfi and opened the first branch at Ganpati Chowk, Laxmi Road. He built trust by preserving qua
lity and gained an entry into the hearts of Puneites who consumed sweets religiously as a supportive food. Gradually, the sweets started making way in every festival and occasion. Thus with limited quantity but euphoric vibes, in 1980 another branch at Ketkar Path was inaugurated. Later in 1987, a proprietary concern by N. Ghodke was started on Paud Road with the same brand name. Since 1937 we have continued to abide by the legacy of quality and hard work and have been delighting Puneites with an exquisite platter of sweets throughout the year. Since then we offer sweets like Kwshari Pedhe, Kandi Pedhe, Sakhari Pedhe and Jumbo Keshari Pedhe along with Khava Barfi, Badam barfi, Pista Barfi, Hapus Mango Barfi and Dudhi Halwa. Serving the best to our customers in our aim and so we make these delicacies out of fresh ingredients like pure khava, keshar or saffron, elaichi or cardamom, mango mawa, almond, pistachio and sugar along with natural flavor. It does not end here as we complement our sweets with namkins like Poha Chivada, Potato Chivada and Wafers to spice up the taste of Puneites.
