“I need colours! This will change my mood!” ❤️
When Nupur Sethi, a brand patron of Swadhin, heard about our collaboration with Corvee, a brand creating beautiful handmade fabric jewellery, she knew exactly what she wanted to take back to California — handmade gifts for her colleagues.
One of them was Edith.
Edith walked into her office dressed head-to-toe in black. Nupur noticed and asked, “I’ve never seen you in all black. Is everything okay?”
Her reply: “Nothing is right.”
A little later, Nupur walked into her office with a Swadhin box.
Edith opened it and, with a completely different energy, said:
“I need colours! This will change my mood!” 🌈
And that stayed with us.
Because these pieces of handmade jewellery are not just aesthetic. They carry colour, creativity and joy — and sometimes, they can change how someone feels.
And behind every colourful piece are talented women whose hands, skills and creativity made that moment possible.
