Mohammad Yaseen Choodisaaz Calls for a Collective Return to the Prophet’s Message of Mercy on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (pbuh)

Srinagar, August 24: On the sacred occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), BJP Leader Mohammad Yaseen Choodisaaz conveyed his heartfelt felicitations to the people, describing the occasion as a profound reminder of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) exemplary life and his enduring legacy of mercy, tolerance and service to humanity.

Choodisaaz said the significance of Milad lies not merely in remembrance, but in translating the Prophet’s teachings into conduct—by choosing kindness over hostility, forgiveness over resentment and solidarity over division.

He said the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) provides humanity with an enduring moral compass, inspiring societies to uphold dignity, fairness, empathy and peaceful coexistence.

“Milad-un-Nabi invites us to look beyond the celebrations and reconnect with the values that defined the life of the Prophet (PBUH)—compassion in our dealings, humility in our conduct and concern for the welfare of others. These principles can help build a society rooted in mutual respect and collective harmony,” Choodisaaz said.

He prayed that the blessed occasion usher in peace and prosperity, strengthen the spirit of goodwill among communities and inspire everyone to contribute towards a more humane, tolerant and harmonious society.

It is a matter of great honour and privilege for me to have been invited as the Chief Guest at the 4th Ranking Roller Skating Championship 2026 organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Roller Sports Association.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, coaches, parents, volunteers, and all those who worked tirelessly to make this championship a success. My sincere appreciation goes to the young skaters whose enthusiasm, discipline, and sportsmanship have made this event truly memorable.

To all the participants, I would like to say that every competition is not only about winning medals or securing rankings. It is about learning, growing, building confidence, and becoming stronger with every challenge. The courage to step onto the skating rink and give your best is itself a remarkable achievement.

To those who won today, congratulations on your success. Wear your medals with pride, but also with humility. To those who could not secure a podium finish, remember that setbacks are temporary and often become the foundation of future success. Every champion has faced disappointment before reaching greatness.

Keep practicing, stay disciplined, believe in your abilities, and never stop dreaming. Your dedication today will shape your achievements tomorrow. Jammu and Kashmir is blessed with immense sporting talent, and I am confident that many of you will represent our Union Territory and our country at national and international levels in the years to come.

I wish all the young athletes a bright future and many more accomplishments ahead. May you continue to excel in sports and in life.

Thank you once again to the Jammu and Kashmir Roller Sports Association for this honour and for their efforts in nurturing the sporting talent of our youth.

Mohammad Yaseen Choodisaaz Hails BJP’s New National Team, Extends Best Hearty Wishes to Ram Madhav

Srinagar, August 17: BJP political leader Mohammad Yaseen Choodisaaz has extended his warm congratulations to Shri Ram Madhav on his appointment as National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and conveyed his best wishes to the newly constituted team of national office-bearers.

Choodisaaz said the appointments reflect the BJP’s emphasis on combining organisational experience with fresh leadership and renewed energy. He expressed confidence that the new team, under the party’s leadership, would contribute meaningfully to strengthening democratic institutions, fostering national unity and advancing inclusive development.

The Nowhatta Community Hall, a vital public space serving local residents, is in urgent need of repair and restoration. Neglect of this important facility is affecting community activities and public gatherings.

Authorities must take immediate notice and allocate the necessary resources to renovate and maintain the hall for the benefit of the people of Nowhatta.
