Shraddha also found it fascinating that sarees are passed down as heirlooms that connect one generation to the other, traditionally and aesthetically. This idea came to life in August 2020 when she took a step and set this plan into motion, which led to a start to a wonderful journey of peering into small towns of India and sourcing the most exquisite clothing/fabrics from small-town handloom arti

sans and weavers. Loom & Groom is a small, budding retail company who wants to endorse and celebrate organically sourced clothing, fashion art and handloom crafts. L&G wants to showcase how Indian wear/handlooms can be looked at as comfort wear and not just stored away in depths of the closets, saved for special occasions. L&G wants to go back to the roots and thus, we source all our materials/fabrics/textiles from small vendors as we believe in promoting rural and semi-urban organic businesses.
