Our new product launches ( and some surprises)
The dhoti - block printed, white, super fine with a fitted shorts, sewn to perfection for sitting cross legged at a puja aasan, or sashtaang pranam or for any traditional non religious programme.
Many like the full babu look it evokes ! Ideal for pandal hopping or a wedding morning! Thanks Pranay Sangodkar for modeling for us!

This year we got some amazing fabric painted and Kantha stitched kurtas in many sizes .. loved by many and orders placed by a few, they are our draw at any exhibition! Let us know your size and colour preference and we will be happy to serve you ! And on top of that you can pair them up with our matching dhotis! See the blue one , the red one and the black and white one here. Thanks Rotaract Club of Smart City Navi Mumbai for the photoshoot!

Our latest dress, ankle length as per your choice : belt, faux collar and button at V neckline, short sleeves, belt, pocket and short slit at the hem. We are focusing on the entire Ikat range this year, seeing the soaring temperatures around all year, and the choices you make each time I wear one of these!

The Maheshwari cotton silk hand block printed saree .. we happily execute orders when you place them. Light colours are available usually with a pink or red border. Thank you Vaidehee Duggal for sharing your card one day at an exhibition which led to this partnership with you ! We will surely go from more to more !

Our favourite Katna Kantha sarees launched last year for Pujo was a big hit .. everyone loved it ..
The motifless geometric design exquisitely hand embroidered, and majorly stylish and smart looking Katna Kantha sarees are our personal favourites ! Cotton is what we love but you’ll love the Tussar and the Murahidabad silk versions you see here.

Here we are inspired by Shabnam didi at her centre in Shantiniketan where she gives shelter and livelihood to women who stitch magic into colour and texture to convert a piece of cloth into a Katna Kantha saree. Just look at the colours and you’ll know why we love them and work with them!

So many milestones in two years .. Thank you Jayanta and Swarnali for letting us know how we can stand with you in your exemplary work to support women of fugal Bengal ! Jayanta Sen and Swarnali Chattopadhya

This year we could help with the very special Nakshi Kantha workshop conducted on location Selaighar by Purono Kolkatar Golpo Society ! We feel privileged to have helped the girls learn this highly skilled art from an expert !

Glad to know that the Dashabhujas are producing lovely upholstery and garments after a year of practice and training. Will happily showcase them after we put our own take on them, based on our dear supportive customers and their needs and desires.

Thank you ऋचा मंदार for introducing me to Umesh dada and Sanjeevani Adivasi Trust, Dombivli. Such lovely bags they have made for us this year !

End of day three and the exhibition itself !
Thanks a lot Sunita and the team .. especially your smiling and thoughtful daughter who always proactively solved problems either a smile!
Thanks go out to my fellow stall owners for being so warm and making wonderful suggestions .. .

Took away many plusses from a last minute show on an impulse .. going happily on a month long stay with mum in Kolkata .. will get goodies for the store too! See you later!
