But surely you will find a lot of treasure…!!! ABOUT US:
“One man's trash is another man's treasure!!“
So goes a saying… Well! This concept of Thrifty Treasures evolved during our family home's renovation, where amongst all the makeover commotion happening all around came out so many hidden treasures, some which were long forgotten about and a few which were just lying about without anyone giving
them a second glance!! Reminded of an award-winning Japanese movie by Shinsuke Sato, Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror. (If you have not watched it… then you missed it)
Some of the unraveled treasures were quite rare and with antique value, like coins, currencies, armed forces medals of various countries etc., and could be surely termed as memorabilia. Few items could be recycled to bring out your creativity in terms of sewing, crocheting, and more... Also salvaged were preowned home decor, home appliances, cutlery, crockery, antique cookware, etc. Having traveled extensively across India and a few countries abroad, it goes without saying that a lot of items have been purchased over the years thinking it would all be used in this lifetime!! Well, the sad truth is half of them haven’t been used at all and a few might have been used just once or twice...
Speaking of clutter, the amount of clothes that have been collected and accumulated over the years is ludicrously amazing!! Ranging from sparingly used winter clothing like jackets, sweaters, and coats to a wide array of saree varieties like pure Kanchipuram silk sarees, organzas, embroidered ones to a million varieties of synthetic and cotton daily wear sarees. And once you are tired and ready to relax with a hot cup of tea, coffee or … well, it's up to you… we have a variety of books to offer you, some old some new - ranging from classics to murder mysteries to chronicles to antiques…

A few varieties of plants to brighten up your garden too!! Am sure there are a lot of people out there who would be just too happy to add a plant or two more to their existing collection!! In today's day and age where we are desperately trying to clear as much clutter from our homes, why just dump these good things into trash bins or recycle centers?? Why not let them find a new home where they will be loved, cherished, and made to good use!!
