For the past few weeks, we’ve been quietly on the road again — planning, refining routes, reconnecting with old contacts, revisiting artisan villages, and preparing for our next long journey across India.

Every monsoon, when the forests close, we travel across different regions of India to source directly from artisan and craft communities for Malaya.

This year, we’re opening that journey to a small group of travellers.

Introducing:

THE EAST COAST & CRAFT ODYSSEY
July 9th – August 5th, 2026

A 26-day overland journey across 6 states — through forest heartlands, tribal regions, sacred coasts, craft villages, monsoon landscapes, and slow roads.

This is not a checklist tour.

It is a journey into living craft traditions, conversations, local food, changing landscapes, and stories that rarely make it into guidebooks.

We’ll travel slowly.
We’ll meet the makers.
We’ll listen before we buy.

Travel with us through:
• Bastar & Chitrakote Falls
• Araku Valley & the Eastern Ghats
• Konark & Puri
• Raghurajpur artisan village
• Shantiniketan & Purulia
• Netarhat, Mainpat & Amarkantak

Small curated group.
Limited seats.

If this speaks to you, DM us for the detailed itinerary.

A little wild. A little whimsical. Entirely handmade.

Our shelves just got happier.

Wobbly-head tigers & elephants —lovingly crafted in papier-mâché by rural women artisans of Odisha. Each one carries a gentle nod, as if saying “take me home.”

Alongside them, a flock of vibrant papier-mâché birds has flown in — colourful, playful, and full of folk charm.

Every piece is handmade. Every purchase supports artisan livelihoods. Every home deserves a little handcrafted joy.
