From fishermen and tea sellers to street workers, vendors, and everyday heroes — this wall is a tribute to the hands that keep Chennai moving.

Every character was inspired by a real person. Every line was drawn from a real story.

not just to look at,
but to reflect.
Every piece here once had a purpose.
Now it asks a question.
Are we building the future…
or burying it?

“இதுவும் கடந்து போகும்.”
A simple line — but one that has helped people move through some of their hardest phases.

I was not a believer of this line in 20s ;
But in 30s this line is making me comfortable to the best.

It was about placing a thought in the right environment.

A café is where people pause.
They reflect, they talk, they sit with themselves.
And sometimes, all they need is a small reminder that whatever they’re going through… will pass.

That’s what we tried to build here.
From a blank wall → to something that quietly connects.

Design thought -
And when i saw this wall - this is the quote will go well, no 2nd thoughts.
I said the lines to gopi - madrassi, he loved it and finished with grace.

This is what happens when art meets the purpose.
