The working hands in our weaving rooms are instruments of an older order. Their movements are deliberate, almost archival in nature: separating threads, guiding colour, creating alignment where none existed a moment before. Each gesture holds a lineage of practice that is rarely spoken but always visible in the cloth. These hands do not seek attention; they hold continuity. In the faint press of a fingertip or the controlled pull of silk, the past and present meet without announcement. The Paithani begins here, in actions that appear simple but contain generations of knowledge.
