At the latest Sanremo Festival, the vast majority of the songs were played with the J-24 and the Mojo Vintage.
There was, however, one song whose sonic character called for a short-scale bass, such as a Mustang or a Musicmaster.
Fabio Crespiatico therefore chose to use a 1974 Musicmaster.
A few months later, we designed a short-scale bass that draws directly from the characteristics of those instruments, bringing them into the modern era while preserving their distinctive tone and response.
I asked Fabio to play that song again with the Neelo, in British Racing Green, and I’ve listed its specifications below.
Enjoy listening, and if you feel like it, let me know what you think. 😉
