2-ply head snare comparison with our new artist .gtrs.amps.drms from France 🇫🇷.
Ultra acoustic demo. Snare used is made solid steel snare and all the heads are tuned at 264hz. Recorded with 6 mics through Never 1073 preamps and no EQ.
What you hear is exactly that!

Here it is a very quick demo between Andromeda Coated (1-ply 10mil head) vs a Pegasus (2-ply 7+7mil head + underneath blue dot) on the same snare. As you can hear, the Andromeda is bright with an high pitch and warm sound. The Pegasus
