Tonight we go to the classic!
It is a pair of "outdoor lanterns" in pure Lombard Liberty, made in the early 1900s in wrought iron and glass; their particularity is given by the presence of 3 lights, for each lamp, unlike what normally happened, with the presence of a single light inside the more usual lantern shape. Perfect in a very wide range of settings, both outdoors and, in my opinion, indoors. This is their current aspect, with the patina that more than 100 years of existence have left; they can, of course, be sandblasted and painted, but it depends on your tastes .... Width 50 cm - Height 65 cm - Projection from the wall 45 cm - Weight about 16 kilos

a nice example of a 40's chandelier, with a brass structure, a large glass double plate and some details in green painted metal, so fashionable in that period. The lighting is provided by three bulbs which, at that time, with 25 watt incandescent bulbs, should not have been a great light :-) - Diameter 50 cm - Net height of the chandelier about 45 cm - total height with the current rod 105 cm approx.

Veca appliques are famous and, therefore, often seen, but they are always beautiful, especially in the version with glasses in various shades of blue.

Last arrived!
Birillo lamp by Carlo Nason for Mazzega.
Too bad the color of my photographs is not 100% realistic; the foot of the lamp, in fact, is closer to the "green water" than to the light blue, but I was unable to make it well. Whatever the color, however, the effect is remarkable, also due to the rarity of the shape of the upper part in opal glass.

3 large "all glass" appliques from the late 1980s; made very well, with a large amount of accessories not visible; from the aluminum sheet casing that covers fixing screws and electrical components, to the glass screen, which more diffuses the light of the halogen bulb. And finally, a single, simple corrugated sheet of sandblasted glass with a transparent central slot; simple and effective! Obviously, and as usual, I don't know who could have produced them :-).
Width 45 cm - Height 15 cm - Projection 13.5 cm. - Weight 2.7 kilos each.

Stylistically, this chandelier is a hybrid: the structure recalls the Sciolari style, while, the glass, that of Nason. In any case, a pleasant final result; 5 lights, 50 cm in diameter by 90 cm in height, with the current rod.

Questo mi sembra un bell'esempio di Double Trumpet, nello stile di Goffredo Reggiani, se non proprio di produzione Reggiani - 60 cm di diametro per 118 cm di lunghezza massima, ovviamente, riducibile :-)
