After being out of print for the past several years, we’re excited to bring this classic 2004 split from Italy’s Raein and France’s Daitro back into print. Recut in 2026 with updated art and packaging, the 12” LP comes with a full color jacket, printed inner sleeve, and three limited vinyl colors. Also available on cassette.

Founded in 2002 in Italy, Raein released a dizzying amount of music, across multiple splits, EPs and albums, while extensively touring the world during their original run. Reformed in 2023, Raein is considered to be one of the leaders in emotional hardcore, melding melody and discordance into something truly beautiful to experience.

Hailing from Lyon, France, Daitro delivered a perfect blend of hardcore and emo, proving that there are still some bands that possess the power and spirit of do-it-yourself punk that the original French emo movement held in the 90’s. In their heyday, Daitro toured the globe throughout the early 2000’s and released several albums, EPs and split releases. They remain highly regarded and influential in the contemporary DIY screamo and post-hardcore scene.

With a decade of music and relentless touring behind them, Spanish Love Songs return with Future Nausea, their fourth full-length and most ambitious record to date. Following Schmaltz (2018), Brave Faces Everyone (2020) and No Joy (2023), the band expands their sound with the widescreen sweep of classic heartland rock, combining shimmering synths, ringing guitars and soaring choruses with Dylan Slocum’s incisive songwriting.

Oxnard, California’s NAILS have signed to Closed Casket Activities, marking the occasion with a new two-song 7” release, Fear Based Life. A brutal statement of intent — and a bridge to the band’s fifth full-length, due out Summer 2027.

The signing closes the loop on a relationship well over a decade in the making. On making it official, NAILS said:

“NAILS has been very fortunate to work with great labels. All throughout the band’s existence, there’s not a bad label that the band have worked with. In fact, they’ve all been great. A look into the backend of Nails, I’ve been working with Justin Louden of Closed Casket Activities since 2011. All NAILS decisions regarding tour decisions, business decisions....all the behind the scenes stuff.... we conferred with him to help with perspective and insight regarding how we made our moves and executed the vision for NAILS. There hasn’t been a more instrumental asset to NAILS than Closed Casket Activities in the past 15 years. Signing a record deal with Closed Casket Activities is the best move for NAILS and we know this is going to serve NAILS the best for the band’s needs. Coming out of the London and Brighton hardcore scene just over a year ago, Turn of Phrase have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most promising new hardcore bands. Constantly on the DIY touring circuit alongside both friends’ bands and longtime influences, they’ve wasted little time building momentum. In just over a year, they’ve released a demo, two songs on a split 7” with New York City hardcore band Square One, and now return with seven new tracks on their debut 12” EP, “Out in the Water”

Across the EP, Turn of Phrase continue to refine their sound of fast, melodic hardcore, pulling from early-2000s hardcore and ‘90s emo. Lyrically, vocalist Logan Grant explores friendship, love, and the importance of remaining present. His writing reflects on past mistakes, embraces the inevitability of making new ones, and finds meaning in continuing forward despite life’s uncertainty.

“Out in the Water” captures the feeling of drifting through the unknown, surrounded by both emptiness and possibility, and somehow finding the strength to keep moving.

Following the ferocious declaration of intent laid down by 2025’s Demo MMXXV, Milan-based musician Gabriele Gramaglia offers the first full-length manifestation of Lugubrious Garment, ‘In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night’. Known for his work with Cosmic Putrefaction, Vertebra Atlantis and numerous other entities operating within the more adventurous reaches of extreme metal, Gramaglia established Lugubrious Garment as an outlet for a more ravenous and instinctive strain of Death Metal; one driven by brute momentum, frenzied aggression and an uncompromising rawness. On ‘In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night’ that initial impulse erupts into a considerably more formidable and fully developed beast.

While retaining the layered, multifaceted songwriting characteristic of Gramaglia’s broader body of work, Lugubrious Garment directs that complexity toward outright pandemonium. Gritty, abrasive guitars churn through pummeling and intricate rhythmic contortions as tortured vocals howl from within the tumult and cascades of shrieking lead guitar slash across the album’s fractured landscape. Yet beneath its seemingly unrestrained violence lies a meticulously engineered attack: riffs twist and collide at excessive velocity, tempos lurch between hammering force and sudden acceleration, and flashes of classic Heavy and Speed Metal emerge through the wreckage before being swallowed by the surrounding maelstrom.

In Dead Deities, SATANIC PLANET’s new album for Relapse Records, we see a band coming into its own while offering an aggressive, pitch-black, deeply surly call-to-arms against autocracy in the age of Christian nationalism.
