Simbass è un U-bass semiacustico costruito per il Kenya Ukulele Project, con corpo sottile, scala 540mm, tastiera in ulivo italiano e un intarsio in madreperla faffigurante il famoso Simba ;)
Il progetto è anche collegato a un’iniziativa benefica del Kenya Ukulele Project!

Finally some photos and information about Simbass.
A semi-acoustic U-bass built for the Kenya Ukulele Project, featuring a slim body, 540mm scale, Italian olive fretboard and a mother of pearl inlay.
It is the big brother of the Tembo soprano ukulele, and I’ve heard they can’t stay apart… they need to be together 😉
This project is also linked to a charity initiative by the Kenya Ukulele Project.

⚠️IMPORTANT! I’ll bring with me two Simbass at the Monopolele festival, but probably one is already on hold!

Cipollino 2.0 in progress.
It’s a long build with many details to solve, but it’s slowly taking shape.
Sometimes these instruments take more time than expected, but that’s part of the process!
What do you think so far, will it be worth it?

È un progetto lungo, pieno di dettagli da definire e piccole sfide da affrontare, ma sta lentamente prendendo forma.
A volte questi strumenti richiedono più tempo del previsto, ma fanno parte di questo lavoro, tante tribolazioni ma anche tante soddisfazioni!

Qualcosa di nuovo sta prendendo forma in laboratorio. Per ora non posso dire troppo, ma si tratta di un progetto un po’ diverso dal solito… e sta diventando davvero interessante 😁
