Siamo a Ferragosto ed ecco la chicca: Proteus 1.6 stampato in PA12GF con tecnologia MJF HP da un artigiano Master di settore.
Abbiamo la resistenza meccanica al top e le resistenza alla temperatura fino a 120 gradi.
Qualche modifica al layout originale dopo i test con la versione 1.3 e le competizioni: winch a prua davanti all’albero, in centro scafo, servo timone sulla deriva in centro scafo, trasto randa regolabile.
Non abbiamo ancora il costo di stampaggio ma dovrebbe essere competitivo anche in relazione con il notevole miglioramento termico e meccanico.

It’s mid-August and here’s the highlight: the Proteus 1.6, 3D-printed in PA12GF using HP MJF technology by a master craftsman in the field.
It offers top-class mechanical strength and temperature resistance up to 120 degrees.
A few modifications have been made to the original layout following tests with version 1.3 and the regattas: a bow winch in front of the mast in centerboard; rudder servo on the centerboard and an adjustable mainsail post.
We don’t yet have the printing cost, but it should be competitive, particularly given the significant improvements in thermal and mechanical performance.
