Just a violin bridge 🎻
These days are some of those days that the work does not flow as desired. There was the Easter to prepare, a meets with friends and parents, our little boy has a flu and some maintenance works popped up,so we had to postpone a nice event in the shop...
And you know?It is totally OK!
The things happen and what is out of our control is out of our control 🧘🏻‍♀️ We are trying not to stress ourselves and using this "not on the bench time" for recharge and clean the head. So once back, we could be productive and creative more than ever🌿

Every violinmaker has a process that hates to do🥸
I will be honest ,I detest the soul fitting .It gets on my nerves!!!
In all this years e felt so frustrated about how much time takes me to do this job(comparing with my husband for example), but i realized that it doesn't mean that I am unprofessional. I have colleagues that are super good in fitting and really worse in other operations. The most important thing is that the job is made correctly and the process flow🧘🏻‍♀️..And of course i cut myself...Great start!😄

This is how we apply the scotch tape before gluing the top/back over the ribs. The scotch protect the ribs wood from the hot glue, and prevent future varnishing problems. And not only,in this way you can think only for the gluing process and not worry constantly clean the ribs.
