My nieces wanted to surprise their mom with a Mother’s Day cake ❤️ A “red velvet” cake but made with beets instead of dyes.

Honestly it turned out sooo good! You couldn’t even taste the beets.

I love getting to watch them grow, learn new things, & spend time together in the kitchen. Love those silly girls so much 🫶🏽✨❤️

Horchata + Tiramisu…because why not!

I love a classic tiramisu but I also love experimenting with new flavor combos. This one needed just a bit more horchata flavor and a deeper soak but overall it turned out pretty good!

Tried my hand at gluten-free strawberry cream puffs…and I ain’t mad at it! 🍓

The flour was very absorbent so I had to double the eggs compared to a regular batch. It behaved completely different than wheat flour but the flavor was just as delicious!!

The fresh strawberries and preserves gave every bite a touch of sweetness. A little treat worth trying, gluten-free or not! ❤️✨

Took a chocolate making class at in Florence and I had the best time! I ended up being the only student, so I got a full 1-on-1 with Chef Giovanni 🍫✨

Learned how challenging chocolate tempering actually is (way harder than baking 😅) and made a bunch of fillings: white chocolate & orange liqueur, milk chocolate with Baileys, coffee/hazelnut, and truffles.

Can’t wait to practice at home… thinking tiramisu truffles or a mazapán bonbon. Have any flavor ideas for me? Drop them below! 🤎✨

Spent the day learning how to make French pastries and omg I wish you guys could smell the buttery deliciousness… it was sooo good 😭🥐✨

We laminated dough from scratch and turned it into palmiers, kouign-amann, and apple turnovers 🍎💛

Now I’m ready to try these again at home!
