Our latest group of handsewn journals with a variety of drawing papers and handmarbled leather covers. This lovely unique leather marbling was done on vegetable tanned leather by JenLeo .

Today we gild.

Our books are mostly gilded by hand. This depends on the size and composition of the design.

Happy Monday!

Bookbinding is full of different stages and phases. Today. We have various projects that were started last week and will be doing the next parts in the coming days.

Currently our Monday has some workshop prep, Coptic binding, longstitch binding and an X-Large guest book:)

Parts of some of the projects we have been working on this week. All very different and unique. Process, design and choosing the right materials for each project is one of my favourite parts of what I do :)

New fun collaboration we are creating . This small series is done with natural vegetable tanned leather that has been handmarbled by Jen. We have another series that will be completed soon which is a series of handsewn books with handmarbled leather :) stay tuned!

What started with two letters and ended up as a bespoke refillable leather cover . Hand worked leather with leather lining.
