Stefan Hauk played the Cornerstone House before it even officially opened.

Tiziano Negrello on bass, Iarin Munari on drums, one pedalboard built that same morning: Gladio SC, Centurio, Nucleo, Antique.
A RedSevenAmplification head and cab.

Twenty people on a terrace by the lake. Ninety minutes of Stefan’s original songs, live.

We put the whole thing together in a week. It turned out to be one of the best nights we’ve had.

The House officially opens in September, and this was the first time anyone outside the team heard how it sounds in the room.

The Centurio is here.

It took us a long time to get this one right. Two independent channels, real independence, not a shared voice with a switch. That’s a lot harder to build than it sounds.

The Clip k**b and the Hot Mode came later, once the foundation was solid.

Same guy. Seven years apart.

2018, NAMM: first time meeting Joel Korte. Cornerstone was just getting started and I was there with the eyes of someone chasing a dream.

2025, Amsterdam: Joel trying out our latest creation at the Chase Bliss pedal day.

Chase Bliss has always been one of my references — not to copy, but to understand what it takes to build a boutique brand with a real identity. Joel probably has no idea how much his work has inspired me along the way.

We don’t meet often, but every time we do it’s a reminder of how much road is still ahead — and how much has already been covered.

Being a “colleague” today, in our own way, means more than I can say.

Some things you just can’t replicate in a studio.

The energy of a room full of people who live and breathe tone. The handshakes, the conversations that go way too long, the moment someone plugs in and just gets it.

Bologna was exactly that — old friends, new faces, and the kind of connection that reminds you why we do this in the first place.

Gear is a language. And shows like this are where the conversation gets real.

🇯🇵 Japan, you’ve been something else.

From the Osaka show to the days spent with and , to the late nights over beer and sake with Jannis (), , Charles ( ) and the whole crew brought together by our amazing Joshua at distribution.

And somewhere in the middle of all this, a small big moment: we previewed a brand-new pedal designed for the Japanese market at 🤫

What we’re bringing home isn’t a trade show. It’s the people, the conversations that ran late into the night, the mutual respect between builders crafting pedals by hand in different corners of the world.

Your tone is inconsistent. Here’s why.

Ever feel like your sound is all over the place — too loud, too quiet, never quite there? That’s not your guitar. That’s not your amp. That’s uncontrolled compression.

Here’s the thing most players miss: compression is always happening. Your tube amp does it naturally — it’s called SAG, a gentle squeeze from the power supply, the transformer, the tubes. It’s part of what makes a great amp feel great.

But sometimes you need to take control of it yourself.

Toggle up → higher compression, more sustain, smoother dynamics. Raise the volume to compensate — and let your notes breathe longer.

Toggle down → lower compression, every nuance of your right hand comes through. Peak attack, raw response, total dynamic freedom.

Compression doesn’t kill your tone.
Set it right, and it becomes one of your most powerful tools. 🎸
