This is the rosette of a very special guitar.
A guitar commissioned by a dear friend who recently became a father.
This child is called Levante and,
like every new life that arrives, he is a hurricane that disrupts lives and joyfully redefines the rules of a father's existence.
Fatherhood becomes a reality at the moment of birth.
Before that moment, it is mere lucubration.
So, what could be more beautiful and exciting for a guitarist than to have a guitar built entirely dedicated to his son?

Nothing could be more beautiful!
So this ‘Levante’ guitar was designed by the luthier (that would be me) together with his father... hmm... actually, come to think of it, this guitar has two fathers!
One is biological, the other is putative.

This rosette is the first glimpse of this collaboration.
The aesthetic concept is based on the use of warm, natural-coloured woods.
I used bamboo, mahogany, maple and ebony.
The central mosaic with arches was designed with a reddish background. I usually use dark woods such as ebony or rosewood on my guitars.
Everything is aimed at creating an instrument with an informal and welcoming appearance, in keeping with the context of the dedication to a child.
The rest of the guitar also follows this path, which will be revealed in the next reel.
