💧 Smarter mapping for a stronger water network.

SWDE teams are using TopoGEOS GNSS solutions to survey existing pipelines and new installations, locate fire hydrants, map service lines, and collect key GIS data and field photos — making documentation faster, clearer, and more efficient. 📍🗺️📸

This technology supports the management of a network spanning nearly 38,000 km and supplying drinking water to more than 2.5 million people across Wallonia. In 2024, SWDE invested €263.5 million in infrastructure modernisation and water resilience. 🚰🏗️

These investments include major projects such as the new 6-million-litre reservoir in Ohey and strategic network works connected to the E42 corridor in Bierset.

🤝 A big thank you to Ellipse for the collaboration and for bringing TopoGEOS technology into the field — combining precision, reliability, and practical tools for demanding surveying and GIS operations.

📍 Belgium | L-40 SLAM Training

From field data capture to point cloud visualization, our reseller Ellipse organized a hands-on training session dedicated to the L-40 SLAM.

Participants tested the system in different indoor and outdoor environments, exploring the complete workflow: data acquisition, control point management and 3D processing.

A practical experience designed to highlight the speed, flexibility and ease of use of SLAM technology, even in complex and challenging spaces.
