Sometimes our work goes beyond production.

A few months ago, Krisztián wrote to us because he wanted to fulfil a simple wish for his grandfather: visiting a citrus grove and picking fruit directly from the trees.

They travelled all the way from Slovakia to get here. After reaching Catania by train, they continued by bus and then on foot, walking nearly 10 kilometres to reach the farm.

His grandfather had spent his entire life working in agriculture, mainly with aromatic and medicinal plants, but citrus had always remained something distant, something he could never experience in his own country.

That day, he walked through the grove with genuine curiosity, observing every detail, asking questions, and taking his time to understand how we work. And of course,
he harvested his own fruit.

Before leaving, they filled a bag with oranges and made their way back, taking the same long journey in reverse.

Sometimes it’s not just about what we grow. It’s about what people come here to experience.

Every company has a story, and ours also includes Ninja.

His real name is Nenúfares Immanuel Nelson José Anacleto, which you can imagine is a bit too long to call out across a citrus grove. So we went with Ninja.

We adopted him in 2019, and he has been part of the team ever since.

He grew up here, in the grove, always by our side. As a puppy he followed us everywhere, during daily work and even harvest days, always needing to be involved.

He still loves carrying things around. Branches, empty baskets, anything he can find. He even carried the wedding rings down the aisle at Carmelo and Milena’s wedding,
which he probably considers his most important job so far.

Now he’s grown up, at least technically. In reality, he’s still the same energetic puppy, always ready to play. He’s also incredibly protective with our cats, always watching over them and staying close.

Some members of the team don’t really need a job title.
