The new lower manual for the Mojo61 features a USB port that allows you to connect the instrument to a computer, tablet, or smartphone and use it as a standalone controller. Can it be used with the DK61? Certainly: you need two USB ports on the device (or a USB hub), and the two keyboards will be recognized as separate controllers. Is the aesthetic perfectly matched? Not exactly... judge for yourself. However, it is a viable setup.

The answer is yes, the new lower manual can be used "stand-alone" like a common USB keyboard controller. Attach it to a computer or tablet, smartphone, whatever with USB host port (or standard MIDI plug) and some virtual instrument, and play it with or without velocity. Channel is also assignable. Of course it has only keys and nothing else... except maybe a large area where to put the rest of your equipment😊

After 10 years the Mojo61 gets a new redesigned look, slightly smaller, lighter, uses new PULSE 6105WF waterfall keybed, and keeps the same price of 2016... despite the terrible inflation of the last years. Ah and... the new lower manual also works as a standalone controller (no need for external MJU).
