We live in a time that teaches us to replace things as soon as they begin to look old.

But some materials become more beautiful with time.

Lime is one of them. Its surface changes slowly, developing a patina, catching light differently and carrying the marks of age without losing its value.

Perhaps good materials are not the ones that stay unchanged. Perhaps they are the ones we can allow to age.

Petrae is a mineral finish designed to evoke the look and tactile quality of natural stone. Its three versions — Vicenza, Sorrento and Serena — each evoke a different stone through their distinct colour and aggregate composition.

Its formulation combines hydraulic lime, cement and selected marble powders. Small fragments of coloured stone are dispersed throughout the material, giving each version its own natural depth and character.

Applied by trowel in three coats, Petrae is carefully smoothed and compressed, then lightly sanded once dry. This final stage refines the surface while preserving its subtle variation.

The result is a hard, tactile and quietly irregular finish, with the character of stone but the continuity of a hand-applied finish.

Suitable for interior and exterior walls, as well as furniture, tables and kitchen tops.

Marmorino Medium follows the curves of the structure, giving the surface subtle movement and depth without distracting from the architecture. Its natural variation becomes more visible as the light changes throughout the day.

Lava Plaster is a material of many possibilities.

Its lime-based, highly thixotropic formulation develops exceptional hardness as it dries, allowing it to retain pronounced textures, fine reliefs and complex surface work. The same material can be worked with trowels, brushes, combs, rollers or stencils, producing surfaces that range from subtle and restrained to strongly sculptural.
Colour, mineral additions and pearlescent or metallic waxes extend its possibilities even further, transforming the same base material into surfaces that recall brushed metal, rain, fabric, oxidation, stone or volcanic relief.

Suitable for both interior and exterior walls, Lava Plaster offers the applicator a highly versatile material language.

Hydrocement brings the depth and character of a mineral finish into areas where water resistance is essential.

Here, it has been used on a kitchen island, creating a continuous surface with subtle movement and a calm, natural presence.

Unlike many finishes designed for water-exposed environments, which rely primarily on resin-based formulations, Hydrocement retains the character of a mineral surface. The result is a more natural depth, tactile richness and refined appearance that conventional resin finishes often lack.

Mirror+ combines the optical qualities of Venetian plaster with the workability of an acrylic finish.

Its formulation blends marble powders with acrylic resins, creating a material that develops exceptional gloss while remaining easier and faster to apply than traditional lime-based plasters.

Applied by trowel in thin coats, Mirror+’s most distinctive characteristic is that it remains polishable for up to 24 hours after application, giving the applicator far greater control over the final sheen than conventional Venetian plasters.

Originally developed for marble imitation techniques, Mirror+ can also be diluted and tinted to create veins with a brush or sponge before being polished to a deep gloss. This makes it suitable not only for polished wall finishes, but also for highly realistic decorative marbling.

A continuous surface does more than eliminate joints. It creates continuity between architecture, furniture, and everyday life.

In the restoration of this 18th-century home in the historic centre of Copertino, Pastellone Cocciopesto was chosen for the floors, the masonry kitchen, and the bathroom walls. The same material flows through the different spaces, creating a quiet dialogue between the original stone architecture and the contemporary interventions.

Rather than competing with the building's history, the finish reinforces it. The uninterrupted surface allows the vaulted ceilings, exposed local stone, and handcrafted elements to remain the true protagonists, while bringing coherence and durability to the entire home.

A thoughtful example of how traditional materials can support contemporary living without compromising the identity of a place.

Liberty Arena is a decorative finish with a dimensional, slightly sandy texture, enriched by iridescent reflections that change with the light.

The combination of quartz microspheres and real metal powders creates tactile, dynamic surfaces, ranging from soft, subtle effects to more striking finishes.

In the Gold version, the warm base enhances rich shades such as deep greens, terracotta and natural bronzes, always crossed by golden reflections. The Silver version, on the other hand, lends itself to cooler tones, from pearl grey and chalky blue through to graphite and slate black.

In contemporary interiors, there is a growing desire for surfaces that feel more tactile, less uniform, and closer to the nature of the materials themselves.

Lime-based finishes bring depth, movement and subtle natural variations to walls. They change with the light, reveal the hand of the applicator, and help create warmer, more authentic, lived-in spaces.
