Loving the mountains is not a statement of intent. It's a daily practice.

It means moving through it with respect, attention, and gratitude, becoming guardians of its wonder.

This is where begins in "Lo Zen e l'arte di andare a funghi". a reflection on freedom, time, and our relationship with the natural world.

The same vision also takes shape in "Per Silenzio e Vento" his first film, selected for competition at , where it will be screened on July 27.

Because nature does not need to be conquered. It only asks to be listened to...

Solo ascoltata.

With his arrival in Trieste, Hervé Barmasse has completed the Endurance Project: a human-powered journey across Italy, combining alpinism, cycling, trail running, and sailing, driven by a passion for exploration and a deep connection with the mountains.

Traveling solely under his own power, Hervé crossed the country from south to north, climbing the highest peak in each of Italy’s 20 regions and experiencing an extraordinary diversity of landscapes along the way.

The final week took him across some of the Alps’ most iconic peaks before reaching Trieste, the final destination of a journey that showcased the richness and variety of Italy’s mountain environments.

Along the way, many people joined him on sections of the route, transforming the project into a shared story shaped by encounters, conversations, and a common passion for the outdoors.

An ambitious adventure completed under his own power, and enriched by all those who became part of it along the way.

Andare a funghi non significa trovare qualcosa.
Significa imparare a cercare.
