Marco Cargnelutti Violin Maker

Marco Cargnelutti Violin Maker Fine Italian violins, violas and cellos from the Cremonese tradition, totally hand-made from the best selection woods in my workshop in Udine Sperzaga, W.

It was in 2006 when I first went in contact with the art of violin making, when I visited a violin maker's workshop. After three years I started to attend the International School of Violin Making "A. Stradivari" in Cremona, and guided by Masters like A. Zambelli, M. Negroni, L. Bellini and D. Scolari I learned to build violins, violas and cellos from the cremonese tradition. After graduating I went to G. Scolari's and L. Bellini's workshops to improve the quality of my instruments, working both on aesthetics and acoustics. Then I moved back to my hometown and I opened my workshop, where I build violins, violas and cellos following the Cremonese tradition, using best selection woods and totally natural varnishes. Most of my instruments are based on Stradivari's models, with particular attention to G. Ornati and F. Garimberti, two of the most famous italian violin makers of the last century.

**BEST LISTENED WITH HIGH QUALITY HEADPHONES**

Ta**us is a violin inspired by the powerful character of the Guarneri del Gesù "Leduc" 1745.

Named after the constellation Ta**us, and the mythical bull of ancient legend, this instrument embodies the same qualities: strength, warmth, and great presence. Its sound is deep, warm, and powerful, with a rich core and a strong voice capable of filling the space with intensity and character.

Like the mythical Ta**us, this violin combines raw power with noble beauty — an instrument with a bold personality, built to be heard and felt.

Applying the ground, it's composed of 2 parts of linseed oil and 1 part of aloe. At 270C the aloe "burns" in oil, releasing a beautiful golden orange color!
