Vertical pole structure with double adjustable arm in mustard yellow lacquered metal — that bold, unmistakable yellow that could only come from 1960s Italy, when design was serious business and colour was an act of courage.
The dome shade is in perfect condition, white on the inside, and the adjustable counterweight lets you direct the light exactly where you need it. As functional as it was in '68, as beautiful as it is today.
Elio Martinelli — founder of Martinelli Luce, trained set designer, visionary by nature — is one of the great masters of Italian design. His lamps hang in museums around the world. This one could hang in your home.
