💜 7 YEARS OF MADE TO MELT 💜
Today marks 7 years since I officially started Made to Melt, and I've been thinking about what those seven years have really meant. Because Made to Melt was never just a business. Back in 2018 I was diagnosed with early-stage cervical cancer. I was a stay-at-home mum, and suddenly my mind was filled with fear, thoughts and “what ifs”. My mental health declined & my mind was going somewhere dark, and I needed to keep it busy.
Something for me. So I ordered a little wax melt making kit and started making melts, while I was creating, my mind was quiet.
And somewhere amongst that chaos, Made to Melt was born.
Thankfully, I was incredibly lucky. I had my surgery and got the all clear. ❤️
But Made to Melt stayed.
Over the last 7 years, this business has been there through so many chapters of my life. The highs, the lows, moments I've felt completely lost and the moments I've had to find myself again.
And through all of it, Made to Melt has been here.
There have been times when making something, packing an order or seeing someone love something I've created has been the tiny bit of purpose I needed that day. This business has single-handedly kept me from drowning more times than I could ever explain.
So when I say thank you for supporting Made to Melt, I don't just mean thank you for buying a wax melt, thank you for every order, share, kind message and every person who has told someone else about my little business.
You have all played a part in keeping this little dream alive — and, in ways you probably don't know, you've kept me going too 💜
Seven years ago, I started Made to Melt, seven years later, I'm still here.
Still creating. Still learning. Still rebuilding. Still finding my way, and I'm incredibly proud of that.
