Almost home after my trip to Lathbury and the Wedding Installation Course .

I’ll be picking more of these beauties at Silver Willow Flower Farm that my fiend Susan Freebrey and I started this year. We have some stunning varieties.

Please Like and Share my posts, if you know someone who’d be interested.

We will be setting up Bouquet Subscriptions for 2026.

I’d be happy to hold a workshop if you are interested in learning more about conditioning your blooms and creating designs to make the most of their form and texture.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day 🌞🌺

As a sole trading floral artist, I want to work both with locally grown flowers as well as imported. We strive to be as diverse as possible.

Susan and I have been keen to start ‘growing our own’. We are now renting a field in St John and we are Silver Willow Flower Farm. You can find our posts on Instagram.

Blooms are fleeting, foliage and seed heads on the other hand last and last and last.

I’ve had this oriental beauty on my windowsill since mid May.

It’s designed in a pin holder and I change the water regularly. 🌺

This design can be scaled up or down. My onions have gone to seed, creating tall stems with a bulge, I couldn’t resist using them. They dictated the scale of this design. 🧅

I have a lot of leaves, stunning Achillea and soooo many poppies, the petals won’t last but the seed heads will. Include seed heads when giving flowers so you can gift “from your garden to theirs” 🌺🌺

You cannot get more local than from the garden.

Blooms are fleeting, that’s how they keep us in the present. Take a moment to enjoy their glory 🌺
