Tomorrow, Thursday 10th September is the Jersey International Air Display. With the Avenue closing at midday it'll be carnage near our shop, so we are closing for the afternoon. We are packing/sending mail orders received by 11am though. Enjoy the air show if you're going. And those of you going tuna fishing also enjoy 🤣🤣

We've been waiting for these new Penn Battalion III popping rods to arrive, and we are so far impressed. A beefy rod that seems to bend in the right places, fast but loads parabolic, so it should bend correctly when attached to a decent bluefin.

Having a rummage in your store and you find a big box of Ima Komomo II Joker FP :-)
These lures were gold dust a few years ago, they were so sought after. Still popular here for guys that need ultra shallow lures, as they only go about 6" deep.
Did any of you use them? I think this colour was also popular in the dark...?

Last year I saw a video of some lads down-under using these poppers that just popped like nothing I had seen before. I had to have some, so ordered myself and my mate Phil a few for our upcoming trip to Panama. Well, we were blown away with them, the ease of popping and the noise and splash they made were like nothing I had seen before.
I sent the company a message when I got home literally just complementing them on an outstanding product, and said if they ever wanted someone in the UK selling them I would love to stock them.
Well :-) they are here, and I don't care if no one buys them as I will have them all myself 😂😂 I am a lure addict and there is only one cure....buy them all!!!
Looking forward to also trying the stick baits and those Heros remind me a a Zonk with the carbon bibs. Thank you guys for creating these gems and having confidence in me and my shop x

If you like your surface lure fishing then it is worth reading this post ;-)
Over the winter Lumi Predator Angling sent us some of their Glitter Shads to try, which we did, and we liked. As we say in the description on our site, they cast very well, walk very easy and are comparable to a bigger Frosty or Skimmer. It punches well in to the wind and is almost silent, so Tony who did the review for us said it is great on calmer days and he definitely will be using his in situations where his Salt Skimmer and Frosty are just not quite heavy enough. The weight system being oil with glitter in has been done before but I personally think these feel stronger and better made than previous oil filled lures.

Do you use a scent on your lures? Scenting your soft lures and even some hard lures has always had a bit of a following, usually in dirty water, at night or in hard/heavy fished areas. These days we are selling so much of it I am thinking it is being used in all conditions (or more people are fishing at night these days.... I don't know).
Anyhoo, many of you will be pleased to know the Halco one is back in stock again after many month of not having.
Weirdly, the Freshwater one is way more popular in the sea, and SW version sell well for Freshwater applications ... we are a strange bunch eh!
